People for Animals, also known as PFA, is India's largest animal welfare organization with a nationwide network of 26 hospitals, 165 units, 60 mobile units, and 2.5 Lakh members. We work to rescue and rehabilitate sick and needy animals.
We provide shelter to animals. We provide food to all stray dogs. We also provide medical facilities to dogs that face any kind of mishappening or get infected by some disease.

As India’s largest animal welfare and advocacy organisation, the primary focus of PFA Amritsar Unit is to improve the well-being of as many animals as possible and defend animals’ interests. We do this by achieving better legislation, standards, enforcement and societal attitudes, through a united community of animal protection organisations and via lawful means.
